minor

The minor allows students with an interest in Gender Studies to gain substantial exposure to the field while taking fewer courses than needed for the major.

Requirements

Two core courses: Selected from GNDR ST 210, 230, 231, 240, 250 and SOCIO 216.

Five additional courses: At least three at the 300 level, focusing on gender issues. Three of these five must be offered through the Gender Studies Program. The others may be offered through the Gender Studies Program or cross-listed with another department. The minimum of five courses for the minor may not be double-counted in a student's major.
