Gender Studies Undergraduate Board
Students interested in Gender Studies have the opportunity to be a part of the Undergraduate Board. This committee is comprised of undergraduate students who work closely with faculty and staff to plan curriculum and social events. The Undergraduate Board also organizes several colloquia each year. The Undergraduate Board's events for the 2007-08 year included two speakers, Michelle Citron and Julia Serano, a teach-in by the Mexico Solidarity Network on gender and the Zapatista movement, and an evening with Chicago’s own “Actor Slash Model.” Co-chairs of the Board for 2007-08 were Sharlyn Grace and Marissa Faustini.
