doctoral colloquium

The Gender Studies Doctoral Colloquium, launched in 2005-06, provides an opportunity for graduate students from across the university to get to know each other, share work, and talk about issues of gender as they emerge both in our scholarship and in our professional lives. Monthly meetings often focus on the pre-circulated work of one of our members - from dissertation prospectuses, to grant proposals, to dissertation chapters and conference papers. There is also the opportunity to invite outside speakers. Participants come from a wide range of fields in several schools. To be added to the GSDC list-serve, contact the program office at gender@northwestern.edu. The faculty advisor is Professor Ann Orloff.
